We have a new opening for a Patient Billing Coordinator. This is a full-time 40hrs/wk position working in Patient Billing. The office hours for this position are M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm. The Patient Billing office is located in York, Maine.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees work of team members engaged in processing claims.
  • Proactively identifies problems and assists in solving payment and other patient billing issues.
  • Monitors auditing and billing office policies and procedures to ensure minimising of days in AR.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum (5) or more years in healthcare billing in a hospital setting, to include 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Ability to supervise while also assuming some responsibility in working claims.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Able to meet timelines.
