7.5T Delivery Driver

Driver Hire Southampton is offering an exciting opportunity for 7.5T Drivers to join a well-established company based in Southampton. In this role, you\’ll be responsible for delivering home improvement materials to both commercial and residential properties, with assistance from a driver\’s mate.

About the Role:

Vehicle: Driving a 7.5T truck.
Shift Start Time: Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
Contract Length: Ongoing work, working 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday).
Shifts: 8 to 10 hours per day, with potential for overtime.
Key Duties:
- Delivering home improvement goods across the South Coast.
- Heavy lifting involved, with the assistance of a driver\’s mate for manual handling and directions.
- Ensuring safe, timely deliveries to commercial and residential areas.

What We\’re Looking For:

Full UK driving licence.
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
No DD\’s or DR\’s on your driving record.
Own transport for commuting to work.
Minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5T vehicle.
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
Willing to work alongside a driver\’s mate for lifting and route assistance.
Good local knowledge of the South Coast area.
