We are looking for a Senior Estimator (or a good Estimator looking to step up into a Senior position) to join a main contractor in London. This business would describe itself as a large SME contractor, undertaking design & build and traditional construction contracts in London and the South East with project values ranging from around £3 million to £40 million.
Project types tend to be mainly new-build, including social housing and education with additional schemes in commercial, heritage and sports/leisure. They also carry out some refurbishment works but steer away from fit-out and high-end residential.
Ideally, we would like to speak to a highly technical estimator with a firm understanding of construction and at least 10-15 years of estimating experience. As a business, they use Causeway estimating software (similar to Conquest). Candidates will therefore ideally need to be proficient in this (or at least another computerised estimating package) as well as the full range of the Microsoft suite.
As with all these things, a hard-working attitude, strong ethics and ability to work as part of a team are equally essential to fulfil this role.
We have a salary of up to £85,000 + £5000 car allowance, bonus and package on offer for the right candidate. And, with a flexible working policy allowing employees up to 2 days per week working from home following successful probation – this role really does tick a lot of boxes.
I have a full job specification for interested parties, which I am happy to share. Alternatively, apply now or contact Ricki @ rework for further details.
