Interim Financial Controller

A PE backed services business has exclusively approached CMA for support in recruiting an Interim Financial Controller for an initial period of 6 months.  This position will report to the Finance Director and provide key financial leadership support to the business whilst it navigates a period of transition. What will the Interim Financial Controller role involve? Oversee and coach a small finance team through the period of change Review large volumes of data in order to apply correct revenue recognition Review monthly reporting processes and suggest/implement improvements Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with regulatory requirements Suitable Candidate for the Interim Financial Controller vacancy: Candidates will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified and have worked within an SME business covering a well-rounded finance role.  Experience in a complex revenue recognition environment is highly desirable Prior team management experience is highly desirable as this role will mentor and support the finance team Strong communication skills to partner with a range of stakeholders across the business Additional benefits and information for the role of Interim Financial Controller: Hybrid working with 3 office days and 2 WFH Possibility of the role becoming permanent in the longer term CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this role.
