The company caters to more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our Fresh Food Policy underpins our success and growth, coupled with a commitment to delivering on our promises to clients and supporting site-based teams.
We are seeking a Head Chef dedicated to providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. The ideal candidate will be an organized, hard-working, and approachable leader responsible for the day-to-day management of a group of kitchens. You should be passionate about delivering efficient service to students while maintaining excellent customer service and high food safety standards.
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week; term-time only plus additional days during school holidays
Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, cooking, and presenting food to meet company and client standards. You will aim to enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, oversee all kitchen operations, and support your manager with food safety, training, recruitment, and financial targets. This role offers an excellent work/life balance—working term-time only with no weekends—ideal for those seeking flexibility.
