My Client, a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk Engineer to join their Water Team based in Guildford. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk, Environmental, Drainage and pre-planning Projects for Residential Development Projects, Energy Plants, Retail and Healthcare Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.
As a Flood Risk Consultant you will be supported to complete technical work including:
- Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1, 2 and 3.
- Flood Consequence Assessments.
- Flood Mitigation.
- Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
- Drainage Design using Infodrainage.
This role offers a competitive salary, substantial benefits package, company training and career progression. It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Geography and experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing flood risk assessments and drainage strategies.
