We are part of EY’s EMEIA-based Digital Health Excellence Center (DHEC), dedicated to improving health outcomes and patient experiences by leveraging expertise in healthcare IT, openEHR, and clinical data repositories.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless integration and communication between healthcare IT systems such as EHRs and medical devices.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, administrators, and healthcare professionals to address interoperability challenges.
- Evaluate and recommend healthcare interoperability standards and frameworks tailored to client needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure reliable integration solutions.
- Provide training and support in business development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or related field; Master’s or certifications preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare interoperability solutions.
- Deep understanding of system integration, openEHR, HL7/FHIR, IHE, xDT, DICOM, and clinical data models like SNOMED CT or OMOP.
- Strong communication skills in English and your local language; additional languages a plus.
Additional Skills
- Industry network and consulting experience beneficial.
- Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and project management frameworks like Scrum or SAFe.
- Programming skills in Java, C++, C#, Python, etc., and experience with interface protocols like REST, SOAP, XML/XSD.
