Dawkes Music is looking for an experienced sales specialist to take on a full-time position in one of the UK's largest and most reputable specialist Woodwind and Brass shops. As part of the sales team, we require an advanced woodwind or brass player who understands the pressures and challenges of a dynamic retail environment. The role is diverse, dealing with many scenarios and a broad customer base. Communication, high levels of customer service, and friendliness will be at the heart of the role. You will be responsible for dealing with Woodwind and brass queries across the whole range. Knowledge of current products' history, construction, and features will be a distinct advantage. You will work closely with the rest of the sales team under the Store Manager.
Main Activities & Skills
- Providing consistent and excellent professional advice to customers in-store, online and via the telephone
- Ability to explain, discuss and demonstrate a range of Woodwind & Brass products to a high standard
- Engagement with our 'Dawkes Academy' internal training program
- Developing relationships with local players, teachers, and education providers
- Taking and processing orders for in-store and mail-order customers
- Potential to join our on-site Teaching team
