We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team at Francesco Hair Salon Streetly. The ideal candidate will possess a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in barbering, hair cutting, and styling while providing clients with a memorable salon experience. You will also play a vital role in maintaining the salon's atmosphere and assisting with front desk operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality hair cutting, styling, and colouring services tailored to individual client needs.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on hair care and styling options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
- Participate in upselling products and services to clients, contributing to the overall success of the salon.
- Mentor junior stylists and apprentices, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional growth.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in barbering techniques is advantageous but not essential.
