Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Full Time Lifeguard to join us at Loughborough University Swimming Pool.

Salary and Contract

Salary £23,088 to £24,517 per annum. Subject to annual pay award and 12.5% shift allowance. Hours Full Time Contract Permanent. Placed On Thu 16th October, 2025. Closes 11:30pm – Sun 16th November, 2025. Sport / Activity Swimming. Job Reference REQ250940

Qualifications

It would be advantageous to have a valid RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or equivalent and a first aid qualification but not essential as training will be provided for the successful candidate showing other attributes we are looking for.

You will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be enthusiastic, punctual, reliable and enjoying working within a team.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week. A shift system which includes working a combination of early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holiday/closure days is currently in operation and there is a shift allowance of 12.5% to reflect this.
