The Role

As an Outreach Tutor at New Way Tuition Ltd, you will play a vital role in empowering our students to shine bright in their educational journey. You will provide one‑to‑one and group sessions in subjects such as basic Maths, English, PSHE, interventions, and mentoring, conducted at pupils\’ homes, local libraries, and schools. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of literacy and maths, and have experience working with children, particularly those with SEND.

Your Mission

• Providing personalised academic support in subjects like English, Maths, and more.
• Building meaningful connections with students, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Implementing creative teaching strategies that engage and inspire our diverse learners.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each student.
• Staying ahead of the curve with innovative educational technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.

Qualifications

• QTS (QTLS), PGCE, or a Bachelor\’s degree in Education, English, Maths, or related field (Preferred but not essential).
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children of diverse ages and abilities (Absolutely essential!).
• Stellar communication and interpersonal skills – you will be the guiding star for our students.
• Patience, empathy, and an unyielding passion for unlocking the potential of every student.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods with agility to meet the ever‑evolving needs of our learners.
• Knowledge of educational technology and resources – because we believe in the power of innovation.
