Building Maintenance Engineer Location: Kingston-upon-Thames, KT1 2EE Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum. Building Maintenance Engineer – About the role: We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team, to carry out PPMs to the site, utilising the PDA and Planon system and help keep the university operational. Responsibilities • Plumbing issues, keeping the facilities operational, completing PPM’s • Utilising mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair systems • Understanding logic controllers and interpreting building drawings • Supervising maintenance tasks and contractors • Resolving technical issues which arise • Delivering exceptional customer service to Kingston University Students and Staff Building Maintenance Engineer – Candidate Specification: The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our building systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. • Maintenance: 5 years (preferred) • Team player • Proficient in English for effective communication • Possess mechanical knowledge • Experience with logic controllers and interpreting building O&M’s • Work on your own, carry out maintenance activities, completing PPM’s. • Driving Licence If you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful within this role, apply now!
