Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Assist in the setup of new user accounts and provide basic orientation to new users on the usage of computer systems and related software applications.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of IT support tools, technologies, services, and procedures within the organization’s network environment.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding computer system problems or service requests through phone calls or service tickets.
Experience:
- Strong experience with .NET & C#, VB.NET and JavaScript.
- Experienced working on legacy software.
- Experienced using business reporting tools, such as Crystal.
- Any experience with User Support is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ERP systems would be advantageous.
Salary: They are offering a salary of up to £40,000 for the right candidate.
Location: The client has offices in both Rotherham and Glossop. They are looking for someone who can come into one of these offices 5x per week.
