Role: Audio Visual Specialist
Rate: Up to £500 per day – Inside IR35
Location: Swindon HQ – remote first with occasional travel to client site
Duration: 6 months
We're looking for a dedicated Audio-Visual Specialist to join our clients Unified Communications team. Your main purpose will be to ensure all audio and visual services are available and operating effectively across our organization.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in an Audio-Visual Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AV equipment, including audio mixing, video production, projection systems, and conferencing technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- An excellent ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage and coordinate tasks, particularly related to office surveys and equipment decommissioning.
- Meticulous in your approach to equipment setup, testing, and operational tasks.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting to changing requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability and effective operation of all audio and visual services.
- Confidently set up and operate a wide range of AV equipment, including projectors, screens, sound systems, microphones, video cameras, and control systems, for various events, meetings, and presentations.
- Assist with the delivery of AV projects across our London office locations.
- Support planned office closures by surveying existing AV hardware, assessing what can be recycled for other organizational use, and coordinating the decommissioning of unneeded equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnose technical issues, and provide swift resolutions to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Work closely with all teams within Technology Operations, as well as Facilities and external third-party vendors, to achieve project goals and ensure seamless service.
- You'll also collaborate with other internal departments.
