This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving University in one of the UK's most vibrant, diverse, and exciting cities. The University of Brighton boasts over 18,000 students and staff alongside a huge presence in the local community. Having invested in an extensive portfolio of sport and fitness facilities at both our Falmer and Moulsecoomb campuses, we now require a talented and passionate fitness professional to be based at our state-of-the-art Moulsecoomb and/or Falmer gyms.
Part-time fixed shift pattern or full-time role available; additional group exercise delivery and lucrative personal training opportunities exist to supplement your income and use your skills to maximize the positive impact on our membership base of students and community users.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the highest of industry standards and conduct themselves with the utmost levels of professionalism. In return, you will become an integral part of our established team and benefit from 1-2-1 support from our Health & Fitness Manager.
It is essential to have a genuine passion for fitness, sound working knowledge of the fitness industry, excellent communication and active listening skills, the ability to manage time and workload effectively, and be a great team player happy to share knowledge and best practice.
