GE's Power Conversion business, part of GE Vernova, provides electrification systems that are critical to customers' power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world's major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.
As part of our Early Talent strategy, we are partnering with Warwick University to create an Electro-Mechanical Apprenticeship.
Our BEng Electromechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship opportunity is a full Warwick degree studied over 5 years. On successful completion, you will be awarded a BEng degree. It consists of a combination of off-the-job learning and hands-on experience:
- Off-the-job learning: A combination of on-campus face-to-face teaching and virtual learning experiences designed to satisfy the Apprenticeship Standard for an Electro-mechanical Engineer.
- On-the-job learning: During the duration of the programme, you will rotate through different departments in line with course structure. You will be fully integrated in the teams, working on real projects and creating value from day one.
We Are Looking For People Who:
- Are completing A Levels this year and are expected to be awarded grade A in three subjects, two of them being Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Are looking forward to starting a career in Engineering but want a more hands-on experience from day one.
