A renewable energy IPP are recruiting a HSE Advisor to join their growing Health and Safety team. The company are well established in the UK with a proven track record in developing, constructing, owning and operating Solar PV, and BESS projects across the UK. This is a new role for the business, born out of business growth and is a predominantly home based position, with travel to sites across Southern England.
The position involves:
- Providing H&S leadership across the company
- Supporting and advising employees and external contractors
- Improving performance with the implementation of H&S management systems
- Designing and implementing a H&S programme to drive a positive culture across the business
- Ensuring that rigorous risk assessment and incident management systems are in place
- Overseeing audits where required
Requirements:
- Experience in Health and Safety management (minimum 3 years)
- NEBOSH qualified
- A full clean driving licence
- Experience of ISO 14001 & ISO 9001
- Experience in Health and Safety within power generation facilities (e.g. Solar / BESS / Onshore Wind etc.)
