The Role:
- Support the Headteacher in driving forward the strategic vision of the school and managing the day-to-day operations of the two sites.
- A key element of the role includes leading on well-being and mental health across the school community, alongside overseeing key areas such as curriculum implementation, staff development, and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Headteacher in strategic planning and daily management
- Lead on mental health and well-being across staff and pupils
- Promote a positive and enriching school culture
- Ensure high standards of teaching and curriculum delivery
- Drive school improvement initiatives
- Manage and develop staff, including performance management
- Ensure safeguarding and statutory compliance (including acting as DDSL)
- Lead on community, life skills, and post-16 transitions
