Private Equity Investment Analyst

Our client is a well-established global asset management firm. They are looking to recruit a Private Equity Analyst to join their growing PE investment team in London. This role will focus on identifying the best investment ideas within late-stage growth companies across multiple sectors and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source attractive investment opportunities directly, through relevant intermediaries and own personal network.
2. Conduct financial analysis and modeling to generate investment ideas.
3. Present new investment opportunities to the wider team.
4. Lead meetings with management of companies.
5. Manage the investment process, including term sheet submission and document negotiations.

The successful candidate will have:

1. 4-7 years total work experience.
2. Relevant experience in private equity, growth capital, or late-stage venture capital.
3. Previous experience working in investment banking, management consulting, equity research, or audit.
4. Strong academic credentials (minimum 2:1 degree) from a top-tier university.
5. Interest in investing in fast-growing businesses and an entrepreneurial flair.
6. Analytically astute, with a creative outlook – a good balance of quantitative and qualitative skills.
7. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
