SI England, part of the Igne Group of companies, is seeking to recruit an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join their team in County Durham. This is primarily a site-based role working across the UK in various weather conditions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn new skills and advance their career. Key responsibilities:
- Groundwater and gas level monitoring
- Gas and groundwater sampling using various methods
- Surface water sampling
- Setting up, installing, and downloading groundwater data loggers
- In-situ permeability testing (rising and falling)
- Inclinometer monitoring
- Surveying exploratory hole positions
- Timely submission of all site information
- Adhering to site-based health and safety requirements, safe working practices, and risk assessments
Requirements:
