Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring for a CT Tech to work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center located in Norfolk, VA.
Generous Sign-on Bonus of up to $30K, Relocation, and Moving Allowance for Qualified Candidates!
Hours/Shift: Full-time, Evenings, Monday to Friday from 14:30 - 23:00
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician.
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete accurate department documentation.
- Maintain all equipment to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness.
- Maintain adequate supply inventory for examinations.
Qualifications:
- ARTR or CNMT certification required; advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.
- Education: ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certificate.
- No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome.
