The post holder will work in conjunction with, and under the direction of the Pharmacy Outpatient and Homecare Contract Manager to establish a system for managing and monitoring records of patients repeat prescriptions for hospital only medication. The post holder will be responsible for supporting with managing and monitoring records of patients repeat prescriptions for hospital only medication to ensure continuity of supply through requesting prescriptions, tracking progress of supply and communicating with clinical teams, patients and pharmacy staff. The post holder will be also be expected to provide support for the Pharmacy Homecare Service, supporting with generating prescription orders, processing invoices and other administrative tasks involved with the service. Main duties of the job To support with managing and monitoring repeat prescription requests for hospital only and homecare medicines. To complete all aspects of administration involved with the Pharmacy Homecare service from order creation through to invoice payment. To provide support, information and advice to staff and patients, relating to the repeat prescriptions and homecare service.
