We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduler to join a well established Joinery company based in Stockport. Our client offers an early Friday finish and a very enjoyable working culture. This is a pivotal role within the overall organisation, and you will be responsible for the daily performance of the production and manufacturing facility.
- Plan works
- Check information received for errors/omissions and notify appropriate staff for action
- Assist in the preparation & issue of factory manufacturing schedules (Framesets/CNC)
- Prepare/develop schedules/cutting lists as required for workshop production
- Liaise with site managers/contracts managers/supply only clients where required to clarify details/request additional information
- Provide updates to the Production Director of delivery dates and manufacture periods
- Interpret drawings/specifications
- Review revised drawings and amend documentation
- Ensure products are manufactured in line with the relevant Global assessment details
- Order/purchase materials/plant
- Purchase materials using various internal procurement methods, ensuring best rate for all materials
- Ensure purchase orders raised are monitored for delivery/quality/quantity and signed off once all criteria are met
- Assist in cost monitoring
- Attend contract/progress meetings
