Customer Support Officer – 12 Month FTC

Join Handelsbanken as part of the Customer Connect team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Job Introduction

Handelsbanken Customer Connect is a dynamic department within the Branch Network area providing a range of telephony‑based services to customers as well as administrative and advisory support to the Branch network.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take calls from individual, corporate and potential customers related to payments & transfers, transactions and balances, cards, digital support, fraud, payment monitoring and supporting Branch activities with existing and new initiatives.
  • Handle non‑branch based interactions and provide customer solutions while spotting opportunities.
  • Operate in line with the Bank’s Risk Management framework and relevant risk & compliance policies, ensuring appropriate escalation of concerns.

Workplace & Hours

This role is fully office‑based at the Manchester City Centre Head Office. Working hours are shift‑based, 7 hours within 7 am–10 pm on a weekly rotating basis.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: able to interact and deal with queries professionally with customers and branches.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Confident, professional and friendly telephone manner.
