Temporary (initially) for 1 year - commencing Monday 1st September 2025

The Governing Body wish to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work at Cwmdar Primary School to support high quality learning opportunities for our pupils. Cwmdar Primary School is a happy and inclusive school where staff and pupils treat each other with care and respect. We have strong links with the community and a dedicated team of staff and governors.

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

• Support the learning and development of pupils, adapting approaches to meet a wide range of individual needs.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted support and differentiated activities.
• Assess, record and report on development, progress, and attainment.
• Establish positive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
• Support the development of pupil wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with the school team to ensure school policies and procedures are implemented effectively.

• Good literacy and numeracy skills to support learning effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills when working with pupils and staff.
