Excellent behaviour management skills Ability to build positive relationships with young people and staff Good knowledge/experience working with children with ASD/complex needs in a SEN environment Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with special needs Responsibilities include: Collaborating with classroom teachers to define appropriate activities Assessing children with learning difficulties and working with colleagues to identify individual needs Liaising with professionals such as social workers, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, and educational psychologists Working closely with parents and guardians Organising outdoor activities and community visits Assisting with personal care and medical needs of severely disabled pupils Maintaining records of pupils\’ progress Attending statutory reviews and related meetings, including EHC plan reviews Participating in in-service training Implementing behaviour management strategies TLTP Group is an Equal Opportunities employer.
