Yard Assistant

Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a yard assistant to join our client\’s team based at their Head Office near Uckfield, East Sussex . The yard assistant is a full time position offering £15 to £20 per hour depending on experience. Established for over 30 years, our client is a UK based specialist contractor, which provides its social housing clients with innovative structural repair solutions, including: Masonry Reinforcement, Remedial Lintel Installation, Remedial Wall Tie Installation and Concrete Repair & Protection. They are currently looking for a yard assistant to join the team at head office to assist with the organisation and maintenance of the builder’s yard. A driving licence and knowledge of building is an advantage, but training can be provided. The Successful Candidates Will Have a background in construction Have a CSCS card (other H&S training an advantage) Be an enthusiastic and proactive team player Be organised with excellent attention to detail Be willing to work at height Have a driving licence valid in the UK Have experience driving FLT & Telehandlers Full health and safety training will be made available, along with training in various structural repair disciplines.
