Role
After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistants (Mon-Thu) – Godalming, Surrey (GU7). Part Time, Term Time Only. Working Monday to Thursday from 2.50 – 6.00pm.
Location
Godalming Junior School, Godalming, Surrey (GU7).
Salary
Up to £12.25 per hour, plus holiday pay.
Hours
Monday to Thursday 2.50pm – 6.00pm, term-time only.

Responsibilities
- Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club.
- Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of snack time.
- Be aware of and maintain sensitivity for children with additional needs (physical, behavioural, dietary).
- Develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding.
- Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
- Support individuals with experience in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery setting (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator), or someone seeking to move into childcare.
Skills & Experience
- Passion for or interest in working in childcare, early years or playwork.
- Inspiring, with a fun and creative approach.
- Energetic, reliable and customer-focused.
- Ability to relate to and engage with children aged 4–11.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others to high standards.
- Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
