Flower Shop Florists

We are looking for experienced flower shop florists to join our hotel contracts team. Freelance, full-time, and part-time opportunities are available, working on a rota basis that includes some evenings and weekends.

Main Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting hotel guests and walk-in customers to ensure they receive the highest level of customer service
• Preparation of flowers, creating hand-tied bouquets and arrangements
• Assisting the floral team with event installations
• Ensuring the shop area is clean and tidy at all times
• Taking customer payments using the POS system
• Completing checks relating to flowers, vases, and accessories, to ensure adequate quality and levels of stock are maintained
• Assisting with other ad hoc duties, as required

Requirements:

You will be a reliable and organised individual with a minimum of one year\’s floristry and shop experience.

Skills Required:

• Well presented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers
• Availability to work during peak periods – Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas is essential
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and undertake some manual lifting.
