BTEC Teaching Assistant

Carshalton Athletic Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant for their Level 3 BTEC students to provide academic support, perform administrative tasks, and supervise students. This position can be either Term Time only or a Full-time role, depending on the candidate\’s suitability. CAFC may support the successful candidate in gaining TA or Teaching qualifications.

The Academy aims to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, and positive teaching assistant to work within the Sports College. The ideal candidate will be proactive, inspiring students, and a team player with good interpersonal skills, working alongside supportive staff.

The post holder will collaborate effectively with BTEC Tutors, keeping students on schedule, and ensuring they enjoy attending the program. They will deliver outstanding pastoral and academic support to help CAFC learners make excellent progress, succeed in their studies, and enhance their career prospects.

The successful candidate will support individual students and groups, including those with SEND. The ability to work both as part of a team and independently is essential. The candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills with students and colleagues.
