The Role
Are you passionate about the beauty, spa and wellbeing industry and ready to share your skills with future young professionals? The Trafford and Stockport College Group is seeking a dynamic, creative, and dedicated Beauty Tutor to join our successful team in delivering high-quality vocational, professional, and industry focused education.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering practical and theoretical sessions across a range of Beauty Therapy qualifications (e.g. VRQ, NVQ, VTCT)
- Plan, assess, and evaluate learning to support student progression and achievement
- Maintain industry-relevant knowledge to embed current techniques and trends into teaching
- Provide pastoral and academic support to learners, fostering a safe and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure outstanding teaching and learning experiences
Essential Requirements
- Level 4 qualification (or higher) Beauty/Spa Therapy
- Teaching qualification
- Recent industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of current trends and techniques
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development and student success
- Assessors' qualification
- Experience teaching in a further education setting
Desirable Requirements
- IQA qualification

You will be experienced all-round with a passion for the beauty and wellbeing sector. You will need to be conversant and comfortable in the use of computer systems with a particular focus on Microsoft software systems and applications. You will be a strong team player who can communicate well with others, demonstrate respect for and be supportive towards your peers, and be comfortable in a very exciting and busy working environment. You will have a strong, resilient character with a “can-do” approach to challenges.
