Aged Care Group Visitor-Southport

Our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. You can be part of the solution by offering your time and talents. The role As part of our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, we are looking for volunteers to give one hour each week (min 10 weeks) to spend time with a small group of residents in an Aged Care facility in Southport. The visits will be relaxed and social. Volunteers need to have empathy for seniors and socially isolated people and should be happy to talk about news, current affairs, cultural affairs, and enjoy quizzes. Online training must be undertaken, as well as complying with WHS training if required. Need to know Proof of Covid-19 and Flu vaccinations, and a National Police Check are required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
