Our Installation Engineers are involved in the installation and commissioning of Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems. The successful engineer will install and commission these systems to the relevant industry standards, providing exceptional customer service with industry-leading technical knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served engineer to work within a high-performing team, focusing on a geographical region.
What you will do:
- Provide excellent customer service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships.
- Install the appropriate devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials.
- Manage your time efficiently and prioritise jobs correctly.
- Correctly complete engineer work reports, handover certificates/BSIA certificates or checklists as appropriate.
What we look for:
Essential:
- Experience within the fire and security industry.
- Driving licence.
- Ability to lift and climb ladders.
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to install related systems safely and responsibly, ensuring no injuries, property damage, or wasted materials.
Preferred:
- Hold current relevant qualifications to the industry (e.g., 18th edition, NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, FIA).
