Our client, one of the UK's fastest-growing providers of Business Lending solutions within the SME marketplace, is looking to hire an experienced Deal Structurer to join their expanding team in London and the South-East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development team in structuring and packaging property-backed transactions up to approximately £5 million.
  • Underwrite new business propositions within your own mandate.
  • Act as the first underwriter/due diligence support for deals outside your mandate.
  • Provide underwriting and credit risk awareness training within the wider business.
  • Assist the Business Development team in structuring new business proposals.
  • Ensure credit oversight to confirm new and existing facilities align with credit policies and appetite.
  • Share best practices across the business to drive efficiencies and consistency across the region.

Key Requirements:

  • An experienced underwriter with a comprehensive understanding of property-backed lending, ideally with a broader Asset Based Lending background.
  • Deal structuring experience involving available assets and secondary security.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
  • Excellent prioritization and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative attitude with a positive, proactive approach.
