Biffa Shrewsbury, England, United Kingdom is seeking an LGV 2 Driver (Day Shift). The base pay range is £36,205 + meal allowance (£5 per day) + £1k retention bonus. The start time is 04:00 with a shift from Monday to Friday (45 hours).
Keenan Recycling, part of Biffa, provides food waste collection services for businesses including restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, and prisons. We also collect food waste on behalf of waste management companies, brokers, and councils. Using high-end technology, we process food waste at anaerobic digestion plants, converting it into biogas for electricity, heat, or biofuel.
The LGV Driver will be responsible for collecting and emptying food waste wheelie bins on a multi-collection basis. This physically demanding role requires early starts, outdoor work in all weather conditions, and the use of your initiative.
