CATERed is owned by our schools as shareholders and works to ensure that all children and young people in schools across the South West have access to great-tasting, high-quality food regardless of their background or school they attend. You will be passionate about providing healthy, nutritious meals to young people.
You will be experienced, enthusiastic, motivated, and able to manage both people and the business while keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do. You will be accountable for delivering an excellent and efficient service to the school while meeting strict food and labour cost targets.
The successful applicant will be responsible for on-site catering at Hooe Primary School and will lead an already established team. We are looking for a candidate with relevant commercial catering experience and ideally managerial catering experience within a commercial kitchen.
You will be able to demonstrate experience in mass catering at a supervisory level and have an understanding of all Food Safety Legislation and Food Standards for Schools. Flexibility to accommodate changing daily priorities in a fast-paced setting and the ability to build strong relationships with the school while upholding CATERed's beliefs and goals are essential.
