Responsibilities
- Delivery of FM grounds maintenance services, ensuring the key first and last impressions on the site.
- Provide grounds maintenance services and be the support between the Grounds Lead and the grounds team.
- Deliver specialist grounds services; including attention to pest and tree hazards.
- Maintain knowledge/awareness of grounds/land legislative, standards and technical requirements and developments.
- Prioritisation of work programme to satisfy business needs.
- Form part of the on call rota during periods of inclement weather; supporting site preparations and response to enable ongoing safe access/use of premises.
- Ensure robust application of health, safety and environmental procedures and processes.
- Ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level and keeping site compliant.
- Oversee the conduct of contractors on site; monitoring the implementation and performance of tasks allocated.
- Identify and ensure all key assets are available and appropriately maintained; making recommendations on improvements and additional requirements to FM/Business leads, as appropriate.
