Are you passionate about quality, food safety, and building strong supplier relationships? Join us as a Supplier Assurance Technologist and play a vital role in ensuring our ingredients, packaging, and products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
About the Role
- Support the assessment, approval, and ongoing monitoring of raw materials, packaging, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and 3PL sites.
- Approve and monitor raw materials, packaging, and contract manufactured goods.
- Manage supplier assessments, including audits and visits.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and legal standards (HACCP, TACCP, VACCP).
- Analyse microbiological data and support specification management.
- Handle supplier non-conformance and drive continuous improvement.
- Support internal and external audits and certification processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and co-manufacturers.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Background in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field (degree preferred but not essential).
- Experience in Supplier Quality Assurance in food or drink manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and relevant food safety regulations.
- Experience with GFSI schemes and retailer Codes of Practice.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
