HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Nutts Corner, Belfast Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time Annual Salary: £36,240

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly competent and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Nutts Corner, Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries across Northern Ireland, ensuring all deliveries are executed with accuracy, efficiency, and in strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations.

• Schedule: Rota-based 5-day week (Monday – Friday).
• Weekend Work: Every other Saturday required. (day off through the week)
• Start Time: Between 04:30 – 06:00 AM.
• End Time: Until completion of deliveries (finish time varies).

Essential Requirements:

• Possession of a Category C/Class 2 Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
• Competency in accurate paperwork completion.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of prior multi-drop delivery experience.
• Strong geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
• Experience with temperature-controlled deliveries (training provided).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting timely and accurate multi-drop deliveries in the Northern Ireland region.
• Providing exceptional customer service at all delivery locations.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Completing daily vehicle inspections and load checks.
• Managing documentation and invoicing with precision.
• Handling cash and cheque payments securely and efficiently.
• Reporting any damages, accidents, or food safety concerns.
