Shiplake College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative individual with a passion for teaching Media Studies from September 2025. Do you believe in adding value to every pupil? The role involves teaching Media Studies for up to 10 hours per week, starting September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a degree in media or a related subject to join our dynamic school. Applications are welcome from both ECTs and experienced teachers capable of inspiring pupils in Years 9-13 who study Media Studies.
It's a part-time role that could be combined with another subject to create a full-time position. Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for around 540 pupils aged 11 to 18. Since 1998, we have been a co-educational Sixth Form, and from September 2023, girls joined in Year 7, moving towards full co-education. Located on 63 acres of beautiful countryside near Henley-on-Thames, we offer small classes, excellent facilities, and dedicated staff. All staff are expected to contribute to our broad co-curricular program.
