The Role:
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations
- Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests
- Follows all relevant policies and procedures
- Ensures all food, liquor, and supply items are maintained at appropriate inventory levels in warehouse necessary to handle business operations
- Places orders with Purchasing for warehouse inventory items
- Stocks and maintains all storage areas and keeps proper inventory records
- Communicates with outlet Chefs on levels of inventory in the warehouse
- Assists warehouse supervisor with capital club inventory that is stored in cold storage warehouse
- Receives all mail orders from UPS, FedEx, Airborne, and DHL at loading dock
- Maintains loading dock at all times
- Ensures all housekeeping items are maintained at appropriate inventory levels in warehouse necessary to handle business operations
- Drives company vehicles as part of job responsibilities to run errands, pick up/deliver parts, supplies, equipment, etc.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must possess high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Must possess good communication skills
- Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and receive a license from the DE Lottery
- Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire
- A minimum of one year experience in shipping & receiving environment preferred
- Knowledge of inventory purchasing system is a plus
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
- Ability to organize and record invoices and do basic mathematical computations
- Ability to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to drive a box truck
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
