Hours: Part-time or full-time flexibility available

Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience from £26.15 per hour
GSL Education are currently looking for a committed and passionate Maths Tutor to work 1:1 with secondary-aged pupils, supporting their understanding and confidence in Maths. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to student progress outside of the traditional classroom setting.
- Plan and deliver engaging and tailored Maths tuition sessions (KS3 and KS4).
- Work 1:1 with students, both in and out of class, to help close gaps in learning.
- Track and report on student progress.
- Work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to meet individual learning needs.
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment.
As the Ideal Maths Tutor, you should be:
- A qualified teacher or experienced tutor (QTS not essential).
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths up to GCSE level.
- Experience working with secondary school students.
- Able to build positive relationships and adapt sessions to individual learning styles.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
