We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology and customer engagement. This role is critical in helping prospective customers understand the value of PortSwigger's solutions by providing expert technical guidance, managing proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to success. You’ll work closely with sales, product, and customer teams to deliver outstanding technical demonstrations, address complex queries, and provide insights that shape the future of our products. Technical Expertise

  • Strong domain knowledge, with a passion for becoming a subject matter expert in PortSwigger’s solutions.
  • Ability to run technical demos, lead PoC engagements, and communicate the technical value of our products to different stakeholders.
  • Technical versatility, including a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and secure software development principles.

Desired Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in a technical sales, solutions consulting, or pre-sales engineering role.
  • Experience in roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager (TAM), Technical Solutions Consultant, or Technical Support is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with on-premise and hybrid software environments.
  • Experience in communicating complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering effective sales enablement improvements; creating and delivering training, improving workflows, and creating reusable resources such as PoC templates, demo scripts, and technical videos.
  • Experience with low-touch onboarding approaches to ensure smooth customer transitions with minimal intervention.
