Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with an upcoming and innovative health & safety consultancy located in the heart of Yorkshire who are looking for a Health and Safety Consultant. The family-run business are specialists in bridging the gap between health, safety, and engineering, and support organisations across a wide range of sectors. As a Health and Safety Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients and helping them navigate complex regulatory environments. You’ll work closely with their H&S Lead and clients across the UK to deliver exceptional, tailored health & safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on legal and regulatory health & safety duties
- Develop, improve, and maintain H&S management systems
- Write and update policies, procedures, and supporting documents
- Conduct thorough site inspections and audits
- Deliver high-quality, insightful reports and action plans
- Deliver training and toolbox talks
- Lead or support CDM site compliance
- Investigate incidents and support improvement plans
- Foster strong, sustainable client relationships
I'm keen to speak to Health and Safety Professionals with the following skillset:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Certified IOSH member
- Strong understanding of CDM regulations
- Train-the-Trainer qualification (or similar)
- Experience with ISO 45001 H&S management systems
- Experience in construction and/or manufacturing environments
- Full UK driving licence + business use insurance
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
- Great communication, time management, and self-motivation
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
