Role Profile
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workforce Strategy Analyst to join our team. If you have a knack for data analysis and a drive for continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating to create a digital workforce and resource planning tool that aligns capabilities with project needs.
- Developing regional workforce strategies to support our Strategic Infrastructure’s workforce planning model.
- Assisting in the delivery of national, zonal, and team workforce strategies, ensuring alignment with critical role requirements.
- Conducting quarterly operational reviews to validate budget accuracy and resource allocation.
- Integrating demand data from electricity and gas transmission into workforce strategy planning.
- Utilising strategic workload models to forecast future requirements and costs.
- Establishing frameworks to manage business planning forecasts and key decisions.
- Reviewing departmental plans for credibility and alignment with the annual workforce strategy plan.
- Producing KPIs to monitor compliance against training and progression metrics.
- Collaborating with our academy and business services to align workforce strategies with training plans.
- Supporting the annual review of resource options, developing new solutions for approval by the Strategic Infrastructure executive board.
- Driving high-quality analysis and evaluation of workforce data to inform resource requirements.
Skills & Experience:
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret data and identify root causes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in a training environment.
- A solid understanding of field operational safety and technical procedures.
- Background in management, business planning, or project management, with sound financial acumen.
- Knowledge of HR performance and disciplinary procedures.
- A proactive approach with strong initiative and attention to detail.
- A degree or equivalent experience in a numerate or business management discipline.
- While not essential, an appreciation of Ofgem regulations and the associated data requirements for regulatory reviews will be advantageous.
