New Restaurant Opening | The Whiteley, Queensway (W2)
After the success of Nela Amsterdam, we are bringing our live-fire concept to London. Nela London will open in Bayswater, inside The Whiteley, a billion-pound development. The restaurant will have around 150 covers, private dining, and a striking bar area. The menu is centred on open-fire cooking, seasonal ingredients, and clean, elegant plates. Service is warm, attentive, and unpretentious, focused on guest connection and product knowledge.
We are now building our front-of-house team and looking for experienced Waiters and Head Waiters to join us from the start.
Your Role
- Bring energy, care, and focus to each service
- Guide and engage guests with confidence
- Deliver warm, professional hospitality
- Lead or support your section during busy shifts
- Help maintain high standards across food, drink, and service
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams
- Stay calm, organised, and consistent
- Support and mentor junior team members (Head Waiters)
About You
- Experience in quality restaurants
- 1+ years as a Waiter or 1+ year as a Head Waiter in a reputable venue
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Strong guest focus and clear communication
- Calm under pressure and a team player
- Confident, curious, and eager to learn
- Full UK work rights
