The Intermediaries Investment Manager Associate will be responsible for providing full support and assistance to senior colleagues within Wealth management. You will assist the wealth managers with all aspects of client support and assist with the preparation of reviews and client documentation. We are looking for an associate who can work collaboratively with One RBC partners and functional colleagues across platforms, partnering with other business units to ensure clients are receiving exceptional services.
What will you do?
- Assist, support, and work under supervision of a Senior Wealth Colleague.
- Collate and verify the accuracy of the information and work provided.
- Develop knowledge on breadth of investment, lending, cash, and trust solutions and begins to build knowledge through exposure to client support.
- Supports business development through correct application of client processes and procedures.
- Aware of the office business plans and develops understanding to supports the team in achieving overall objectives.
- Complete all works according to procedure and standards.
- Develop full understanding of existing and new digital capabilities, and support driving client adoption as part of the overall advice-led wealth management proposition.
- Comply with any reasonable instructions or regulations issued by the Company from time to time including those set out in the terms of the dealing and other manuals, including staff handbooks and all other group policies.
- Ensure adherence to group values, policies, procedures, and working practices.
- Managing and operating within a risk management framework.
- Adhering to Conduct Risk Standards.
- Provide quality support to wealth managers meeting the client’s requirements.
What do you need to succeed?
- Must have Working towards CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a financial associate role or within a similar role.
- Collaborative and inclusive approach to work.
- Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.
- Nice to have Previous knowledge of RBC culture and values.
