Key Accountabilities:- Acting as the key point of contact providing regulatory and technical support
- Preparing agendas, briefing papers, and minutes for board and technical committees
- Monitoring UK, EU, Codex and global regulatory developments that affect the food and drink sectors
- Supporting policy development by analysing scientific and technical documents and gathering insights
- Liaising with government officials, European sector groups, and specialist policy experts
- Representing the organisation at external meetings, including travel to Europe
- A degree (or equivalent) in food science or a related field
- Solid understanding of food safety and regulatory issues
- Strong analytical and communication skills
