JamPot Productions is hiring a full time Assistant Producer to join their team, working across all current productions including Nearly Parents, Great Company and Wednesdays.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting producers with end-to-end production, including:
- Uploading episodes to Acast & YouTube
- Writing guest briefs and episode descriptions
- Suggesting conversation topics & researching guests and news
- Liaising with guests to give them the best in-studio experience
- Monitoring inboxes and selecting listeners messages
- Supporting on writing ads and sponsorship scripts
- Timecoding during recordings
- Sourcing props as needed for recordings
- Working with team on development of new shows
- Helping Studio Manager with studio upkeep
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role ideally in a comedy or entertainment environment
- Experience working with talent
- Excellent organisational skills
- Editing experience desired but not required (both audio and video desirable)
- Good knowledge of podcasts, particularly entertainment and comedy
