This renowned aircraft manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Building and Construction Project Leader to join their dynamic team. As the Building and Construction Project Leader, you will be responsible for setting up and leading CAPEX projects from inception and feasibility, through to design and specification, and final handover.

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and manage Multi-Functional Project Teams to deliver projects in accordance with internal requirements and compliance to the company's procedures.
  • Lead Multi-Functional Teams through the detailed design of Building Services for a range of projects, including major plant replacement and refurbishment works.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and other design team members to develop detailed design briefs and prepare reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Monitor and validate the progress of Professional Service Work Packages, observing technical compliance and health and safety matters.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a Multi-Functional Project Team, including external professionals.
  • Previous experience in Capital Investment Project management and project delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience of taking projects from inception and feasibility, through design and specification, to site monitoring and handover.
  • A good practical understanding of mechanical and electrical plant, systems, and equipment across a wide range of sectors and building types.
  • Relevant professional membership, such as CIBSE, IMechE, or IET.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
